Refund & Cancellation Policy
Introduction
This page sets out when you're entitled to a refund or to cancel a Falcon Copywriting order, and how the EU 14-day withdrawal right applies to a service that starts as soon as you order it.
The 14-day withdrawal right, and how it works for a service like this
If you're a consumer based in the EU, French consumer law (Code de la consommation, Art. L221-18) gives you 14 days from your order date to withdraw and receive a full refund, with no reason required — that's the general rule for any online purchase.
Because copywriting work often needs to start quickly (to meet your turnaround date), we ask consumers at checkout to make an explicit choice:
- Wait out the 14 days before work begins. You keep the full withdrawal right; if you withdraw at any point before day 14, you get a full refund and no work is undertaken.
- Request work start immediately, and expressly waive the withdrawal right for the portion of work already completed. Under Art. L221-28, once you give this explicit, informed consent and the service is fully performed within the 14-day window, you lose the right to withdraw once delivery is complete. If you withdraw partway through, you're refunded for the work not yet delivered, and pay only for the work already performed at that point (see the schedule below).
This choice is a separate, explicit checkbox at checkout (step 5, Review) — never pre-ticked, never assumed.

Monthly retainers
Retainers can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice to support@falconcopywriting.com. The retainer remains active — and billed — through the notice period. The month current at the time you give notice is not refunded, and no further month is billed once the notice period ends.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email support@falconcopywriting.com with your order reference (the FC-YYYYMMDD-XXXX code from your confirmation). We'll confirm which stage of the schedule above applies and process any refund to your original payment method within 14 days of confirming eligibility.
Business customers (B2B)
The statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies to consumers, not to businesses acting in a professional capacity. Business customers are subject to the cancellation schedule above from the point of order confirmation.
