Privacy Policy
Who we are
Falcon Copywriting is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We're registered at 31 Av. Foch, 95220 Herblay-sur-Seine, France. You can reach us about any privacy matter at support@falconcopywriting.com.
What data we collect
We collect only what we need to run a copywriting business and respond to you:
- When you submit the project-brief form: name, email address, and optionally phone, company, budget range, timeline, target language(s), and the message/brief you provide.
- When you place an order through checkout: the above, plus billing address, country, and — where applicable — an EU VAT identification number.
- When you contact us directly (email, phone): whatever you choose to tell us in that correspondence.
- When you browse the site, after you consent to analytics: anonymised usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, general location by region, device type). This never loads before you actively opt in — see our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect payment card data. Checkout on this site currently runs a demonstration payment flow; no card number, expiry date, or CVC is ever transmitted to us or stored, whether the demonstration succeeds or fails.
Why we process it (lawful basis)

How long we keep it
- Enquiry-form data that doesn't turn into a project: kept up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted.
- Order and invoicing data: kept for the statutory period required under French commercial and tax law (currently 10 years for accounting records), as required by law, not by choice.
- Analytics data: retained for 14 months in GA4, per Google's default and CNIL guidance, then automatically deleted.
International transfers
Google Analytics 4 may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as its transfer safeguard. If you'd like more detail on this, contact us and we'll point you to the relevant documentation.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase your data, where there's no legal reason we need to keep it.
- Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances.
- Port your data to another provider, where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent at any time for anything based on consent (analytics), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@falconcopywriting.com. We'll respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.
If you believe your data has been mishandled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), the French supervisory authority — cnil.fr.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. We won't reduce your rights under an earlier version without telling you.
